Technical proposal
Engineer monitoring an industrial control room

The project called for replacement of the automation system at a wastewater treatment plant.

The proposed technical stack had to support modern control, distributed I/O, visualisation, diagnostics, interoperability and alarm management in a critical operational environment.

The technical annex assembled a modern Rockwell Automation-based stack including PointMax remote I/O, a Compact GuardLogix 5380 safety-capable controller and Studio 5000 engineering tools.

The visualisation and operational layer included FactoryTalk Optix / View technologies and alarm-notification capabilities, with open connectivity options such as EtherNet/IP and OPC UA represented in the proposed ecosystem.

  • Modern distributed I/O architecture
  • Safety-capable controller platform
  • Contemporary HMI / visualisation layer
  • Industrial interoperability and diagnostics
  • Alarm and notification tooling
  • Scalable deployment options
